As a self-funded amateur roller derby league, we’re always on the look out for volunteers to help us grow and evolve. Volunteering with Sheffield Steel Roller Derby is a great way to start getting involved with the sport, make new friends, and gain skills. Volunteering is flexible, so you can adjust your commitment to fit in with your schedule (family, education, job).
There are so many ways to get involved with Sheffield Steel Roller Derby: skating, refereeing, officiating. And we also have a number of behind the scenes roles that we’d love to fill:
– Events management
– Film/video maker
– Training/coaching
– Bloggers
– Community ambassadors
